Fair at Gogamedi - 
A fair is held in the honour of Gogaji at the village of Gogamedi in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. This fair is held on Bhadrapad Krishna Navami every year. This fair is dedicated to folk god Gogaji. People of all castes and religion from Haryana,Punjab. Madhya Pradesh, Gujraat and Uttar Pradesh come to visit this place to worship and pay their honor to Gogaji,the god of snakes.
Goga ji was born in Chouhan Rajput dynasty. His father was Sanwar and his mother was Bachhal. He was born at Dadreva village in Churu district in Rajasthan. He was the pupil of Guru Gorakhnath. His Samadhi is at Gogamedi in Hanumangarh distrist in Rajasthan.
Gogaji, the god of snakes, is also known as Gogaji Chouhan, Gugga, Johar Peer etc. In the temple of Gogaji at Gogamedi, there are Hindu Pujari as well as Muslim Pujari. The Muslim Pujari worships
Gogaji for eleventh and the Hindu Pujari worships for one month in a year. This practice is an example of communal harmony.

Kumbh Fair / Kumbh fesival /Kumbh Parva - a religious and sacred event 

The Kumbh festival or Mela is a sacred and religions event for the Hindus. This Kumbh Parva is celebrated every twelve year at the four pilgrim centers. These four places are Haridwar, Ujjain, Prayag and Nasik.
Kumbh Parva is an important festival which is celebrated as a great fair. The Kumbh fair is not only the greatest fair of India but also is the greatest fair of the world. The devotees, the tourists and the pligrims come to attend this great event.
 At Prayag, Kumbh fair is held at Sangam, the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Sarswati ( the invisible river ). At Haridwar, Kumbh fair is held at the barks of the river Ganga.
At Nasik, Kumbh fair is held at the banks of the river Godavari. At Ujjain, Kumbh fair is held at the banks of the river Kshipra.
Why is Kumbh Parva celebrated
By charning the ocean (Samundra Manthan ) , the Gods and the demons got fourteen Ratnas, the virtuous jewels.
Among these fourteen Ratans, a Kumbh ( Pitcher ) full of Amrit ( nectar ) also emergod. When the gods and the demons saw this pitcher. They tried to have it in their possession. Just then Jayant, the son of Indra ran away taking the pitcher of nectar with him. During his journey of twelve divine days, he took rest at four places. These four places are Haridwar, Prayag, Ujjain and Nasik. At these four places some drops of nectar spilled (dropped). For the possession of the Amrit  Kalash ( the pitcher of nectar ) a fierce battle took place between the gods and the demons. It lasted for twelve divine days which are equal to the twelve human years. So the Kumbh fair is held at these four places every twelve years. Besides these four Maha Kumbh parva, Ardh Kumbh parva is also celebreted  at Haridwar and Prayag.

Karnimata fair is held twice a year during both the Navratras i.e. in the month of Chaitra and in the month of Ashvin.

2. The temple of Kailadevi was built by the king Bhompal. The temple is situated about 25 km. away from Kaurali.
3. In the temple there are two statues . One of them is of Kailadevi and the other is of Chamunda devi.
4. A fair which is known as the Kaila Devi fair, is held in the month of Chaitra every year. People around Kaurali and from other parts of north India to have the Darshan of Kaila Devi and worship her.

Important things about Baneshwar Fair - 
(1) The other names for this fair are - 'the Kumbh of the tribes' or 'the Kumbh of Bagad' or the Pushkar of Bagad area'.
(2) Baneshwar fair is a popular tribal fair of tribes like Bhil or other tribes.
(3) Most of the people who come here to attend the fair are from Dungarpur, Banswara and Udaipur districts. Some people belonging to Bhil tribes of Gujrat and Madhyapradesh also come here to attend this fair.

Every month the Sun transits from one Rashi to the next Rashi (Sign). This transition of the Sun from one Rashi to another is called Makar Sankranti . When the Sun transits or moves from Dhanu Rashi  to Makar Rashi, it is known as Makar Sankranti. On this day Ganga Sagar fair is held every year.

Where is Ganga Sagar Fair held ?

Ganga Sagar Mela is the annual fair which is held every year on Makar Sankranti, on the Sgar island. in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district at the confluence of the river Hoogly and the bay of Bengal. This confluence is also called Ganga Sagar. To attend this fair a lot of people from all over India come and take a holy dip. They also offer Puja at the Kapil Muni Temple.

A holy dip in the ocean where Ganga enters the sea is considered very auspicious and sacred particularly on Makar Sankranti. Thousands of people from different parts of India come here for a holy dip. It is believed that going on a pilgrimage to Ganga Sagar is equal to going on the pilgrimage to all the other places of pilgrimage. They say,"Anya Teerrth baar baar, Ganga Saagar ek baar."  After taking a holy dip, people give Arghya to the Sun.

Kapil Muni Temple -

After taking their holy dips, people go to the temple of Kapil Muni, where they offer prayers. They also offer coconuts, flowers, vermilion, sweets and money to the image of Kapil Muni and worship it.
