Hanoman Mantra - 'Om Namo Bhagavate Aanjaneyaaya Mahaabalaay Swaahaa' for getting success and good results of one's actions 

The Mantra given here under is  the Mantra by which one can make progress and get good results of his actions -
The Process of Mantra Jap -
After taking a bath in the morning, sit on a rug or a blanket or a piece of cloth made of wool in a separate room or at any suitable and peaceful place. Keep a framed picture of god Hanuman ji before you. Close your eyes and meditate on god Hanuman and have a feeling in your mind that "Hanuman ji's face is shining like a million suns, and he is sitting in Veerasan. He is wearing Yagyopavit. He is the devotee of Lord Ram . He can jump over the ocean and kill the demons is no time. I pray to such a god Hunuman to give me progress in my life and good results of my actions (Karm)"
After this feeling and prayer, Jap(repeat or chant) the following Mantra at least 540 times (five Malas) for at least three months. The Mantra is as follows :-
" Om Namo Bhagavate Aanjaneyaay Mahabalaay Swaahaa " 
"ॐ नमो भगवते आंजनेयाय महाबलाय स्वाहा "
When the Jap is over, do not leave the place of Puja immediately after the mantra jap sit very quietly, close your eyes and reflect upon the infinite strength and power of your mind with full faith   that god Hanuman has accepted your prayer. He is pouring his blessings upon you. Your are making progress   in your life and getting good results of your actions by the grace of god Hanuman . After this feeling, fold your hands and pay your respects for god Hanuman then leave the place of Pooja and commence your routine duty.

What is Hanumat Stavan 
God Hanuman is known, renowned and famous for his courage, strength, power and faithful and selfless service. He is Sankatmochan, one who removes the troubles,dangers and calamities.
Shri Hanumat Stavan is a prayer to god Hanuman. In this prayer the praise of Hanuman ji described by mentioning the praiseworthy deeds done by him.
Benefits of Hanumat Stavan -
The person who recites this Stavan daily, gets the blessings of god Hanuman. If one is in trouble and does not find any solution to it, one must recite the Hanumat Stavan with faith and devotion. By doing so one will find the solution to the trouble or the trouble will remove itself.

( 14.2.6 ) Why is Hanuman Applied Vermilion / Sindur to Hanumanji

 Why is Hanuman ji applied vermilion-

Some Hindu gods are pleased and like some particular thing or things. When these things are offered to them, they are pleased. For example Lord Shiva is pleased when someone offers bel leaves to him, Lord Ganesh is pleased with Durva (A kind of Grass). Lord Vishnu is pleased with Tulsi. Likewise monkey god Hanumanji is pleased with Sindur (vermilion).

The following is the story showing why Hanuman ji is applied (Smeared) Sindur -

One day Hanuman ji was hungry, so he went to Mata sita and said,"Mother, I am hungry. Kindly give me some thing to eat. Sita said affectionately, after taking my bath, I shall give you Modak (a kind of sweet) to eat." Hearing Sita's words, Hanuman began to chant 'Ram,  Naam' and waited for Sita to come back after taking her bath. After taking bath Sita applied vermilion on her head. Hanuman asked her, " Mother, why are you are applying this vermilion on your head?" Sita replied," I apply sindur for the long life of my husband, Lord Ram." 

Hanuman began to think over what Sita had said. Applying sindur, increases the life of my Lord. He got up all of a sudden and smeared sindur on his own body thinking that it would increase the age of Lord Ram and He (Ram) will become immortal.

Then Hnuman went to the Raj Sabha of Lord Ram. Ram saw Hanuman with vermilion on his entire body and began to laugh and asked ,"Why have you applied sindur on your body ?" Hanuman explained to him the reason." Lord Ram smiled at his innocence and said," Today is Tuesday. I shall be pleased with the person who will apply sindur and oil to my devotee Hanuman on this day. This action of theirs will fulfil their desires."

Since then people apply and offer sindur to god Hanuman.

Hanuman Chalisa, The benefits of Hanuman Chalisa & Why to chant Hanuman Chalisa / The power of Hanuman Chalisa

Hanuman Chalisa is a kind of devotional song in reverence of Marutinandan Hanuman .It is very popular among the Hindus.It has been composed by the great poet and saint Tulsidas. There are forty chopais and three Dohes (couplets) two in the beginning and one at the end. Its language is easy so it is easily comprehensible. Hanuman Chalisa has divine power. Its recitation has positive impact on  the person who chants it with full faith and devotion. 

The benefits of reciting Hanuman chalisa-

The following are the benefits of Hanuman Chalisa -

(1) In the Chopai No.38 and 39, it is clearly mentioned that -

जो सतबार पाठ कर कोई। छूटहि बंदि महासुख होई। (38 )

The person who recites Hanuman Chalisa a hundred times, is released or liberated from bondage and obtain great bliss .

(14.2.2)The birth of Hanuman

 The Birth story of Hanuman ji.

Kapiraj  (the monkey king) Kesari, with his wife Anjana, lived on the mount Sumeru. To get a good son, Anjana worshiped Lord Shiva for years. Lord Shiva was pleased with Anjana's worship and devotion and asked her for a boon. At this Anjani prostrated before Him and humbly requested Lord Shiva, "O, Lord Shiva, I want a strong son, who must have all the virtues."
Lord Shiva said, " So be it. I shall take birth in the form of  eleventh Rudra through your sacred womb. Take this Mantra. Vayu, the wind God will give you Prasaad. When you eat that Prasaad you will give birth to a virtous son".
Saying so, Lord Shiva disappeared. Anjana acted upon Lord Shiva's advice and began to Jap the Mantra with full devotion. While she was doing so, a vulture came flying, taking the bowl full of celestial rice pudding in its beak. At that time there arose a heavy wind and hurricane. Due to it, the bowl fell down on the earth. Vayu, the wind god took the bowl and gave it to Anjana. As Lord Shiva had already told her what she was to do. so Anjana took the bowl full of celestial rice pudding and ate it up. She became pregnant and gave birth to Hanuman in due time.
It is believed that Hanuman was born on Tuesday, Chaitra Shukla Purnima. Some others belive that Hanuman was born on Chaitra Shukla Ekadashi in the Magha nakshatra. Some others believe that he was born on Kartik Krishna Chaturdashi  and Some believe that his birth Tithi was Kartik Shukla Purnima. Some say that the day was Tuesday and some others say that it was Saturday.

the sixth is Phaalgun sakhaa ( who is the friend of Arjun )

ये बारह नाम हनुमान जी के गुणों को प्रकट करते हैं। जो व्यक्ति इन बारह नाम वाले श्लोक का रात्रि  में सोने से पहले या प्रातः काल उठने पर अथवा यात्रा के समय पाठ करता है , उस व्यक्ति के समस्त भय दूर हो जाते हैं।  वह व्यक्ति युद्ध के मैदान में, राज दरबार में, या भीषण संकट  जहाँ कहीं भी हो, उसे कोई भय नहीं होता है.
यदि उपर्युक्त श्लोक का पाठ नहीं किया जा सके तो निम्नांकित नामों का जप किया जा सकता है -

Monkey god Hanuman
(A) Some facts about  god Hanuman are as follows :-
(1).Hanuman , the monkey god , is the son of Vaayu or Maaruti, the wind god. He is also known as the son of Vaanar Raaj Kesari.
(2) The mother of Hanuman is Anjani.
(3) Lord Hanuman is considered to be an Avataar ( incarnation ) of Lord Shiva. It is said that Lord Shiva took birth in the form of Hanman to serve Shri Ram and kill Ravan , the demon king of Lanka.
(4) God Hanuman was a great devotee of Shri Ram. Thus he is the symbol of devotion and dedication.
