Bilva Patra ( the leaves of Bel trees ) are very dear to lord Shiva. So He is offered Bilva Patra to please Him.
Important things about Bilva Patra - 
> Bilva Patra or Bel Patra is an important item for the Puja of Lord Shiva
> The leaf of this tree having Tridal ( three leaves or trifoliate) is the symbol of  three chief Gods of the Hindus - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.
> The person who offers Bilva leaves to Lord Shiva, He (Lord Shiva) blesses him / her and fulfills his / her desires.
> The Bilva leaves should not have holes in them nor should they be broken. They should have three leaflets. 
> Offering Bilvapatra to Lord Shiva washes away the sins which are committed in the last three lives.
> In case a new or fresh Bilva leaf is not available, the same leaf offered previously can be reused after sprinkling a little water on it.

Importance and Benefits of reciting Shiva tandav Stotra -
Ravan, the king of Lanka was a great devotee of Lord Shiva. He composed and recited the Tandava Stotra. It is a hymn in the praise of Lord Shiva. It describes the power and beauty of Lord Shiva. This Tandava Stotra has the power to destroy the delusion of the person.

(14.6.2) Shiva Panchkashar Stotra For getting Shiva's blessings &Peace

'Shiva Panchakshar Stotra  For getting Shiva's blessings,happiness and peace of Mind

Benefits of reciting Shiva Panchakshar Stotra -
1. 'Shiva Panchakshar Stotra' is a hymn in praise of Lord Shiva. This stotra has five letters. The five letters are - ' Na, Mah, Shi, Vaa and Ya '. This stotra was composed by Shri Shankaraachaary.
2. Reciting of this Panchakshar Stotra gives mental peace to the person and fills his mind and body with positive energy.
3. The person who recites this stotra with devotion and faith, attains the Shiva Lok and feels delighted with Lord Shiva.
The stotra is as follows - 
1.  Naagendrahaaraay Trilochanaay,
Bhasmaangaraay Maheshwaraay.
Nityaay Shuddhyaay digambaraay,
Tasmai 'Na' Kaaraay Namah Shivaay.
Meaning - Lord Maheshwar, who is eternal, who has a garland of snakes around his neck, who has three eyes, whose body is covered with ashes, who is Digambar, who is pure and eternal. Salutations to that Shiva, who is similar to and analogized with the letter ' Na '.
2. Mandaakinee salil chandan charchitaay.
Nandeeshwar pramathanaath Maheshwaraay.
Mandaar Pushpa bahu Pushpa supoojitaay,
Tasmai ' Ma ' Kaaraay Namah Shivaay.
Meaning - Lord Maheshwar, who is worshiped with the holy water of the river Mandaakinee and Sandal, who is the Lord of Nandi and the Lord of Pramath Ganas (प्रमथ गण ), who is worshiped with Mandaar flowers and with many kinds of flowers. Salutations to that Shiva who is anologized with the letter - ' Ma '.
3. Shivaaya Gaureevadanaabjavrinda,
Suryaay dakhaadhvaranaashakaaya.
Shree Neel Kanthaay Vrishadhwajaay,
Tasmai ' Shi ' Kaaray Namah Shivaay.
Meaning -Lord Maheshwar, who is benefector, who is like the sun that makes the lotus like face of Gauri ( Parvati ) bloom, who is the destroyer of he yagya ( sacrifice ) of Daksh, who has blue throat ( Neel Kanth ) whose flag has a bull as the emblem on it. Salutations to that Shiva who is similar to and anologized with the letter ' shi '.
4. Vashishtha Kumbahobhdavagautamaarya
Muneendra devaarchit shekharaay.
Chandraarka Vaisvaa narlochanaay,
Tasmai ' Va ' Karaay Namah Shivay.
Meaning - Lord Maheshwar who is worshiped by the sages like Vashishtha, Agastya, Gautam and Indra and other gods. The sun, the moon and the fire are His three eyes. Salutation to that Shiva who is similar to and analogized with the letter ' Va '.
5. Yaksha swaroopaay, Jataa dharaay,
Pinaak hastaay sanaatanaay.
Divyaay devaay digambaraay,
Tasmai ' Ya ' karaay Namah Shivaay.
Meaning - Lord Maheshwar who has adopted the form of a Yaksha, who is Jataadhaaree ( has long and matted hair on his head ), who is holding a Pinaak ( a trident ) in His hand, who is eternal, who is divine primeval Lord, who is Digambar ( who has the entire sky as His garments). Salutation to that Shiva, who is similar to and analogized with the letter ' Ya '.
6. Panchaaksharmidam Punyam yah pathechchhavasannidhou.
Shivalokamavaapnoti Shiven sah Modate.
Meaning - The person who recites this five lettered holy Stotra i.e. Namah Shivaay, near Shiv ling, attains the abode of Lord Shiva and rejoices there with Him ( Lord Shiva ).

Shiva Gayatri Mantra for Lord Shiva's blessings, spiritual growth and enlightenment  

Shiva Gayatri Mantra is a powerful, spiritual and devotional Mantra which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.Lord Shiva is the god who is appeased soon. He bestows His blessings on His devotees immediately if they pray to Him and chant the Shiva Mantras with full faith and devotion. 
Shiva Gayatri Mantra is also one of the Mantras which is recited -
- to get the blessings of Lord Shiva.
- to overcome all the domestic problems.
- to get protection from negative forces.
- to get spiritual as well as material property.
Benefits of chanting Shiva Gayatri Mantra-
This Shiva Gayatri Mantra -
- appeases Lord Shiva.
- protects the devotee from accidents and misfortunes.
- gives the devotee mental satisfaction.
- destroys the ignorance and leads the devotee to spirituality.
- helps the devotee to conquer the fear of all kinds.
- brings happiness and positivity in life.
- gives physical and mental energy.
- brings prosperity in life. 

The method or process of Shiva Gayatri Mantra is as follows -
After your bath in the morning sit on a woolen piece of cloth facing east or north in a separate room or at any separate peaceful place. Keep the framed picture of Lord Shiva in front of you. Light Ghee Deepak and Agarbatti. Then close your eyes and meditate on Lord Shiva with the feeling that Lord Shiva is the source of universe. He is the Lord of all creatures. The three eyes of the Lord represent, the Sun, the Moon and the Fire.He is the Lord of mercy and kindness. He is the most kind hearted God who grants boon and bestows His grace on His devotees.
I pray to such Lord Shiva to fulfill my ambitions, to bestow His blessings on me, to give me success in every task that I undertake and to remove all the obstacles that come in my way to success.
After this prayer, Jap (chant or repeat) the following Shiva Mantra 324 times (three Malas), 540 times (five Malas) or more every day. The more you do the better it is. For getting desired results this Mantra should be recited 300000(Three lac) times.
The Shiva Gayatri Mantra is as follows-
"Aum Tatpurushaaya Vidmhe Mahaadevaay Dheemahi Tanno Rudra: Prachodayaat"
 " ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात् ।" 
When the Mantra Jap is over, do not leave the place immediately. After the Mantra Jap sit very quietly, Close your eyes and reflect upon the infinitive love of Lord Shiva. Have a feeling in your mind that Lord Shiva has accepted your prayer. He is pouring his blessings upon you. By the grace of Lord Shiva your ambitions are sure to fulfill.
After it fold your hands and pay your respects to Lord Shiva and leave the place of Puja and commence your routine duties.
"May Lord Shiva shower His blessings on you !"

 Shiva Raksha Stotra ( For Protection)

Shiva Raksha Stotra is a Hymn which has the power to protect the person from diseases (physical and mental) , Evil spirits, poverty and all other Negative Feelings. Besides protecting, Shiva Raksha Stotra fulfills the desires and removes all the negativity and fears from the life of the person who chants or recites it with full faith , devotion and concentration.
This Stotra was told to Yaagya Valkya by Lord Narayan (Vishnu) in the dream and Yagya Valkya wrote it in the morning when he got up.The Shiva Raksha Stotra is given below -
1. Charitam dev devasya mahaadevasya paavanam.
Apaaram paramodaaram chaturvargasya saadhanam.
2. Gouree vinaayakopetam panchavaktram trinetrakam.
Shivam dhyaatvaa dash bhujam shivarakshaam pathhennar.
3. Gangaadharah shirah paatu bhaalamrdhendu shekharah.
Nayanou madandhvansee karne sapreevibhooshanah.
4. Ghraanam paatu puraaraatirmukham paatu jagatpati.
Jihvaan vaagiishvarah paatu kandharam shitikandharah.
5. Shreekanthah paatu me kantham skandhou vishvadhuurandharah.
Bhujou bhoobhaarasanhartaa karou paatu pinaakdhrik.
6. Hridayam shankarah paatu jatharam girijaapati.
Naabhim mrityunjayah paatu kativyaaghrajinaambarah.
7. Sakhthinee paatu deenaart - sharanaagatavatsalah.
Uroo maheshvareah paatu jaanunee jagadeeshvarah.
8. Janghe paatu jagatkartaa gulfou paatu ganaadhipah.
Charanou karunaasindhu sarvaangaani sadashivah.
1. चरितं देवदेवस्य महादेवस्य पावनम।
अपारं परमोदारं चतुर्वर्गस्य साधनं।
2. गौरी विनायकोपेतं पञ्चवक्त्रं त्रिनेत्रकम।
शिवम् ध्यात्वा दशभुजं शिवरक्षां पठेन्नर:।
3. गंगाधर: शिर: पातु भालमर्धेंदुशेखर:।
नयने  मदनध्वंसी कर्णे सर्पविभूषण:।
4. घ्राणं पातु पुरारातिर्मुखं पातु जगत्पति:।
जिह्वा वागीश्वर: पातु कन्धरां शितिकन्धर:।
5.श्री कंठ: पातु में कण्ठं स्कन्धौ विश्व धुरंधर:।
भुजौ भूभारसंहर्ता करौ पातु पिनाकधृक।
6. हृदयं  शंकर: पातु जठरं गिरिजापति:।
नाभिं मृत्युंजय:  पातु कटिव्याघ्रजिनाम्बर:।
7. सक्थिनी पातु दीनार्त - शरणागत - वत्सल:।
ऊरू महेश्वर: पातु जानुनी जगदीश्वर:।
8. जंघे पातु जगत्कर्ता गुल्फौ पातु गणाधिप:।
चरणौ करूणा सिन्धु: सर्वाङ्गानि सदाशिव:।
Benefit of the kavach - A few mantras, stotras and cavachas, have been composed to please Lord Shiva and the person 's desires are fulfilled by the grace of Shiva. Shiv Raksha stotra is one of them. The devotee who recites this Shivaraksha stotra, gets salvation and Lord Shiva protects him from ghosts and gouls who wander in all the three worlds.

According to Hinduism Lord Shiva is one of the Tridevs (three Gods) in Hiduism. (The Tridevas are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). Lord Shiva is a vedic and primeval deity so is the case with Ling Puja (Wroshipping the Shiva Ling. 'Ling' means a mark or a sign or a symbol. Thus Shiva Ling is a Symbol of Lord Shiva which is considered very holy by the Hindus. The shiva Ling has been worshiping since ancient times.
Jyotirling means a ling of divine light. There are twelve Jyotirlings which are the important and holy places of pilgrimage. In the Shiva Puran, we find the names, location and the importance of these twelve Jyotirlingas. Their names and locations are as follows-
(1) Somnath- Somnath temple is situated at Prabhas patan in Sourashtra in Gujrat.
(2) Mallikaarjun - Mallikaarjun temple is situated at the bank of Krishna river on Srisaila mountain.
(3) Mahaa kaaleshwar - It is situated at the bank of Shipra river at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.
(4) Omkaareshawar - It is situated on an island in the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh.
(5) Kedaarnaath - Kedarnath is situated in Uttarakhand.
(6) Bheemashankar - The location of Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga is disputed. It is daid that Bhimashankar Jyotirling is situated at the bank of Bheema river near Pune in Maharastra.                     
According to a story in Shiva Puran, Bheema Shakar Jyotirling  is situated on a hill named Brahmpur near Guwahati (Aasaam).          
Some others believe that there is a large Shiva temple at the place named Ujjanak in Nainital district in Uttrakhand, here is the Bhimashankar Jyotirling.
(7) Kashi Vishvanaath - It is in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. This temple is considered as the most holy shrine by the Hindus.
(8) Tryambakeshwar- It is situated at the bank of Godavari river near Brah Giri in Nasik district in Maharashtra.
(9) Vaidhynaath - It is situated at Deoghar in Jharkhand.
(10) Nageshwar - The location of Nageshwar Jyotirling is also disputed.   
(A) - It is situated near Gomati Dwarka in Gujrat.                            
(B) - Others believe that it is situated near Almora, Uttarakhand.
(11) Rameshwaram - It is situated in Tamilnadu.
(12) Ghushmeshwar -It is situated in Aurangabad district in Maharashtra. It is also known as Grishmeshwar.

FOR GETTING AMBITIONS FULFILLED

Everybody wants his ambitions to be fulfilled. But in some of the cases they remain unfulfilled because of one reason or the other. In some cases the person does not make sincere efforts. So he does not reach his goal. But in some cases in spite of one's sincere efforts, one fails to get the desired results of his work and one's ambition remain unfulfilled.
To avoid such situation Shiva Puja or Mantra can help a lot.
The Method or process of Shiva Puja / Mantra is as follows-

 REMEDY ( SHIVA PUJA MANTRA )

FOR HAPPINESS, FOR PEACE IN THE FAMILY, AND FOR GETTING DESIRES FULFILLED
There are some problems which come across in every body's life. Some of them are- troubles in the family, delay in the marriage of one's son or daughter, loss in the business, unemployment etc. To solve all these problems the following Upay is the best one -
Upaay or remedy -
Buy 250 grams of white Til ( sesame) from the market and put them in a small box. Every day in the morning after having a bath, take about 125 pieces of til (sesame) (you need not count them) in a small bowl and take a Lotha full of water and go to the temple of Lord Shiva. First of all pour water on the idol of god Ganesha, then on goddess Parvati, then on the idol of Kartikeya then on Nandi's idol., then pour water on Shiva Linga. After it take one piece of sesame from the bowl and chanting the Mantra 'Aum Namah Shivay' (ॐ नमः शिवाय ) one time and put  one piece of sesame on the idol of god Ganesh, again take one piece of sesame ,chant the Mantra 'Aum Namah Shivay' and put one sesame on the idol of goddess Parvati. In the same way put the piece of sesame on Kartikeya and Nandi, then put the remaining pieces of sesame one by one on Shiva Ling chanting 'Aum Namah Shivay.'
After dong it sit quietly and pray to Lord Shiva to fulfill your desires or solve your problems you are facing or whatever you want Lord Shiva to do for you.
After this prayer have a feeling and belief that Lord Shiva has accepted your prayer . He is pouring his blessings on you. He is solving your problems. Your wishes are being fulfilled. After it fold your hands, pay respects to Lord Shiva and leave the place.
In the evening go to the same Shiva temple and light ghee Deepak and Agarbatti.
 Then close your eyes fold your hand and pray to Lord Shiva to show you the right path,fulfill your desires and solve your problems if any. Then pay respects to Lord Shiva and come home.
Do it till the 250 grams of sesame finishes.
