Important Things about Kaalaashtami :-
1. According to Hindu calendar Margshirsha Krishna Ashtami is known as Kaalaashtami. The other names for this Ashtami are Bhairva Jayanti, Kaal Bhairav Jayanti, Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.
2. It is believed that god Bhairava is the Rudraavataar of Lord Shiva.
3. God Bhairav fulfills the desires of the persons who worship him with full devotion and make them free from their sins if any.
4. The Puja of God Bhairava and observation of fast on Kaalaashtami fill the person with determination and keep him physically and mentally fit.
5. The chanting of the following Mantra removes the negativity, troubles, everyday problems and enmity.
6. It is helpful in winning the court cases.
The mantra is :-
"ॐ ह्रीं बटुकाय आपदुद्धारणाय कुरु कुरु बटुकाय ह्रीं। "
