Importance of Satyanarayan Vrat Katha

The Hindus worship Lord Vishnu as the preserver of the universe. Lord Vishnu establishes peace and Dharma on this earth. Satayanarayan is one of the forms of Lord Vishnu. In this from he is 'the lord of  Truth' who establishes truth.
Listening to the stories related to Satyanarayan vrat is the important part of this vrat. There are five chaptars in the katha . In these chapters or kathas there is the description of the origin of this vrat and puja, the benefits of observing the vrat, the precautions while observing the vrat and the importance of prasad. These stories also have the description of the glory and the benefit of listening to these stories.
The first chapter begins with the visit of Dev Rishi Narad to Mrityulok. During this visit he saw the human beings suffering very much. Seeing it, he felt grieved and went to Lord Vishnu to find out the way of relieving the sufferings of the mankind. He told Lord Vishnu about his visit to Mrityulok and the sufferings of the human beings and also requested him to show the right way through which their sufferings and sorrows might come to an end. At this Lord Vishnu told him that people must observe the Satyanarayan vrat with full faith, listen to the katha related to the vrat and have the prasad. By doing so all their miseries will come to an end and they will lead happy and prosperous life by the grace of Lord Satyanarayan.
In the chapters second, third, fourth and fifth there are also the stories which have the description of the importance and benefit of observing this vrat.

When is Satyanaryan vrat  observed
Usually Satyanarayan vrat is observed on Purnima Tithi.

Important things about the Vrat process-
Satyanarayan is the Lord of truth. He is one of the forms of Lord Vishnu. The Hindus observe Satanarayan Vrat to get the blessing of Lord Vishnu.
1. On the day of Vrat a wooden plank is placed in a clean room.
2. An idol or a picture of Lord Satyanarayan is put on the plank. Near the plank a Kalash is placed.
3. Ghee Deepak is lighted.
4. Then Puja is performed with due process.
5. The stories related to Lord Satyanarayan are read out by the pandit and the vratis listaned to them with great faith.
6. After the Puja and the telling of the stories, the Aarti is performed.
7. After the Aarti, the prasadis distributed among the devotees.
8. Donation is made according the capacity of the vrati.
9. Then the Vratis break their fast by eating Satwik food.

1. Akshaya Tritiya is considered as one of the most auspicious and sacred Tithis in the Hinduism.
2. By observing Vrat and performing Puja on Akshaya Tritiya people get the never ending good result by the grace of Lord Vishnu.
3. On this day Lord Vishnu fulfills the desires of the devotee and goddess Lakshmi blesses the Vrati with all kinds of wealth.
4. Those, who wish children, success in all the work, worldly enjoyments and liberation, must observe vrat and worship Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi on this day.
Process of Vrat and Puja on Akshaya Tritiya
The person who wants to observe the vrat on Akshaya Tritiya must get up early in the morning and have a bath. Offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu  and worship him by observing shodashopachaar Puja or Panchopchaar Puja. Distribute the prasad among the devotees. The vrati should feed one or more Brahmans and give them donations as per his/her capacity then he should break fast.

Ram Prayer Mantra for removing obstacles and getting wealth and prosperity

Lord Ram is known as Purushottam which means the best of men or the supreme person. He is the ocean of mercy. The Mantras dedicated to Him are the source of happiness. They are the remover of all kinds of troubles.
The process of Mantra Jap - 

After getting up in the Brahma Muhurat, have a bath and sit on a peace of woollen cloth or a mat of kusha grass, facing north or east. Keep a picture of Lord Ram before you. Meditate on Lord Ram for a few minutes and then chant or recite the following Mantra prayer for  21 times daily. Continue doing so as long as you like.

The Mantra is as follows - 
आपदामपहर्तारं दातारं सर्वसम्पदाम्। लोकाभिरामं श्रीरामं भूयो भूयो नमाम्यहम्। 
रामाय रामभद्राय रामचन्द्राय वेधसे।  रघुनाथाय नाथाय सीतायाः पतये नमः। 
"Aapadaaamapahartaaram Daataaram Sarvasampadaam.
Lokaabhiraamam Shreeraamam Bhooyo bhooyo Namaamhaham.
Raamaay Raambhadraay Raamchandraay Vedhase. 
Raghunaathaay Naathaay Seetaayaah  Pataye Namah."
Meaning - He, who removes all the adversities and gives all kinds of wealth (to everyone), the world feel very much pleased by looking at Him, I bow down to that Ram again and again.
Salutations to Lord Ram, Rambhadra, Ramchandra, Raghunath and the lord of Sita.
After reciting this prayer Mantra, have a feeling that Lord Ram is showering His blessing upon you. All of your troubles are being removed by the grace of Lord Ram. You are making progress in every field of life. You are getting wealth, prosperity and fame.

"ॐ पद्मावती, पद्मनेत्रे,पद्मासने, लक्ष्मीदायिनी, वाञ्छा पूरिणि, ऋद्धिं सिद्धिं जयं जयं कुरु कुरु स्वाहा"             

"Om Padmavatee, Padmanetre, Padmaasane, Lakhmidaayanee, Vaanchhaapoorini, Riddhim Siddhim Jayam Jayam Kuru Kuru Swaahaa."         

After the Mantra jap have a feeling that Devi Padmavati has accepted your prayer and she is showering her blessings on you.
