The process of Mantra jap -
After taking a bath in the morning, sit on a piece of woollen cloth at a peaceful place facing east or north. Close your eyes and meditate on Devi Padmavati and have a feeling that Maa Padmavati has the power to bless the person with a good son. Then pray to maa Padmavati, " Kindly bless me with a good, wise and obedient son. "

After the Mantra jap have a feeling that Devi Padmavati has accepted your prayer and she is showering her blessing upon you. By the grace of Devi Padmavati you will certainly have a good, obedient and wise son. Then leave the place of puja and commence your routine work.
