What is Amrit Siddhi Yog 
Amrit Siddhi yog is an auspicious Yog. It is formed when a particular Nakshatra (constellation) appears on a particular Var (week day ). The formation of Amrit Siddhi yog is considered to be auspicious for doing many of the tasks.
Auspiciousness of Amrit Siddhi Yog -
Besides its auspiciousness this yog or combination has the power to nullify the evil effects of some evil   yog i.e.of Mrityu yog etc.which are also the result of the combination of a certain Var (week day ) and a certain Nakshtra or the combination of a certain Tithi and a certain Var.
When and how is Amrit Siddhi Yog formed -
The Amrit siddhi yog is formed when there occurs the following combination of the Var and the Nakshtra :-
1.When Hast Nakshatra falls on Sunday.
2.When Mriga shira Nakshatra falls on Monday.
3.When Ashavini Nakshatra on falls Thuesday.
4.When Anuraadha Nakshatra on falls wednesday
5.When Pushya Nakshatra on falls Thursday
6.When Revati Nakshatra on falls Friday.
7.When Rohini Nakshatra on falls Satarday.
Limitations of Amrit Siddhi yog -
Although Sarvaatha Siddhi yog is considered auspicious yet this yog is prohibited for the following tasks :-
1. The combination of Tuesday and Ashavini is prohibited for Grih Pravesh
2. The combination of Saturday and Rohini is prohibited for Journey    .
3.The combination of Thursday and Pushya is prohibited  for marriage
