Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC)
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is a constitutional body. There are one Chairman and seven members in the RPSC. These posts are constitional. On these posts the appointments are made by the order of the governor of Rajasthan state. The tenure of the chairman and the members is for six years or up to their attaining the age of 62 years, whichever is the earlier of the two.A senior IAS officer is appointed as the secretary of
the commission. The secretary executes and looks after all the administrative and financial matters. For the assistance of the secretary, there are the posts of vice secretary and the controller of the examinations.
The RPSC organizes the recruitment examinations for the various posts in the departments of the Rajasthan govt. The recruitment to RAS, RPS, RTS, and Rajasthan subordinate services is made through competitive examinations.
