Sarva Mangal Manglye Shive Sarvaarthsaadhike - A prayer to goddess Durga for getting her blessings and refuge
Goddess Durga is known as the mother of the universe. She is called as Shakti, the goddess of power and strength. She relieves the sorrows of her devotees.The Durga stuti, if recited everyday with faith and devotion, goddess Durga blesses the person with all kinds of auspiciousness, gives him/her protection and refuge, fulfills all the desires and frees him/ her from worries. The stuti is as follows -
सर्व मंगल मंगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोस्तुते।
Sarva mangal mangalye shive sarvaarthasaadhike.
Sharanye tryambake gauri naaraayani namostute.
Meaning - नारायणी, आप सब प्रकार का मंगल प्रदान करने वाली मंगलमयी हो। कल्याणदायिनी शिवा हो। आप सब पुरुषार्थों को सिद्ध करने वाली, शरणागत वत्सला, तीन नैत्र वाली एवं गौरी हो। आपको नमस्कार है।
