(5.3.25) Ravi Yog (An Auspicious Yog)

Ravi Yog - An auspicious Yog in astrology

Auspiciousness of Ravi Yog :-
Ravi Yog is an auspicious yog. Ravi yog can remove the ill effect of thirteen inauspicious yoga and if proper Muhurat is not available, one can perform auspicious events during this Ravi yog.
When is Ravi Yog Formed :-
Ravi Yog is formed when moon Nakshatra is fourth, sixth, ninth, tenth, thirteenth and twentieth Nakshatra away from the Sun Nakashatra.
How to calculate Ravi Yog :-
For example, if Sun is in the Ashvini Nakshatra, and Moon is in Rohini Nakshtra under this position, there is the Ravi Yog because in this position Moon is four Nakshatra away from Sun Nakshatra. In the same way if Sun is in Bharani Nakshtra and Moon is in Punarvasu Nakshtra, then Ravi Yog is present there because in this position Moon Nakshtra Punarvasu is six Nakshtra away from the Sun nakshtra Bharani.
