About this Nakshatra it is found in the scriptures that just like among all the animals, the lion is the most powerful animal, in the same way, Pushya Nakshtra is the most powerful Nakshatra among all the Nakshatras.
सिंहो यथा सर्वचतुष्पादानां , तथैव पुष्यो बलवानुडूनाम।
चन्द्रे विरुद्धेSप्यथ गोचरेपि वा सिद ध्यन्ति कार्याणि कृतानि पुष्य।।

When does Guru Pushyamrit Yog Form ?
When Pushya Nakshatra falls on Thursday, this combination of Pushya Nakshatra and Thursday is called Guru PUshyamrit Yog. This Yog is considered to be highly auspicious. In this Yog people can start a new task, open a new shop, purchase a new vehicle, buy ornaments made of gold or silver. This yog is also considered good for praying goddess Lakshmi and getting her blessings.
Limitations of Pushya Nakshatra -
