What is a Tithi :- 
In the Hindu calendar, a Tithi is a lunar date. There are thirty Tithis in a lunar month. Out of them,15 Tithis are in Shukla Paksha and remaining fifteen are in the Krishna Paksha.
What are the names of the Tithis and who are their Lords :-
The Shloka showing the Swami ( Lords ) of the Tithis is as follows-
क्रमात्तिथीनां पतयोSग्नि धातृ गौरी गणेशोS हि गुहो रविश्व। 
महेश दुर्गान्त कविश्व विष्णु कामेशसोमा: पितरो हि दर्शे।।
