What is Gandharva Vivah / Muhurat for Love Marriage/ Muhurat for Gandharva Vivah
Gandharva Vivah is one of the eight kinds of Hinddu Vivah. Gandharva Vivah can be considered as love marriage. A boy and a girl marry of their own will. Usually the consent of their parents is not taken.For the success of the love marriage it should solemnized during the right muhurat. For the Muhurat for Love Marriage the following things or factors are taken into account -
Tithis - Dwitiya, Tritiya, Panchami, Shashti, Dashami, Ekadashi, Trayodashi.
Vaar (day) - Sunday, Tuesday, Saturday are considered good.
Nakshtra - Ashvini, Kritika, Ardra, Punarvasu, Ashlesha, Jyeshyha, Dhanishtha, Shatbhisha.

Guru and Shukra Ast (Combustion of Jupiter and Venus) - For arranged marriage the Guru - Shukra Ast period is not taken but Love Marriage can be solemnized even during this period.
