8-3-2 Sapt Shloki Durga
Sapt Shloki Durga is the seven verses which are the part of devi Mahatmaya . It is a prayer to goddess Durga who has divine powers . When the person recites these shlokas with full faith , devotion and concentration ,he will receive the blessings of goddess Durga and will be successful in is efforts By the grace of goddess he (the devotee), will get health, wealth , good family life and knowledge of different fields. When the person has problems , Devi Durga removes them and fills him with happiness.
The process of Jap :-
After taking a bath in the morning, sit on a piece of woolen cloth at a peaceful place facing east or north. Keep a picture of Devi Durga in front of you , meditate on Devi Durga and have a feeling that Devi Durga has the power to provide her devotees with all kind of riches and happiness. She can remove the problems , fear , sorrows and poverty from the life of the person who goes to her shelter and prays to her .
Then pray to Durga to fulfill your desires and remove your problems if you have any. Then everyday recite the following seven shlokas (verses)eleven times or seven times or five times with full devotion for at least three months .The shlokas are as follows :-
1.Om Gyaaninaamapi Chetansi Devee Bhagavatee Hi Saa.
Balaadaakrishya Mohaay Mahaamaaya Praya chchhati.
1. ॐ ज्ञानिनामपि चेतांसि देवी भगवती हि सा।
बलादाकृष्य मोहाय महामाया प्रयच्छति।।
2. Durge Smritaa Harasi Bheeti Masheshjanto ,
Swasthai: Smritaa Matimateev Shubhaam Dadaasi.
Daaridrya dukh Bhay Haarini Kaa Twadanyaa.
Sarvopakaar Karaay Sadaardra chitta.
2. दुर्गे स्मृता हरसि भीति मशेषजन्तो: ,
स्वस्थै: स्मृता मतिमतीव शुभां ददासि।
दारिद्र्य दुःख भय हारिणि का त्वदन्या ,
सर्वोपकार करणाय सदार्द्र चित्ता।।
3.Sarva Mangal Mangalye Shive Sarvaarth Saadhike.
Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Naaraayani Namostu Te.
3.सर्व मंगल मंगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोSस्तु ते।।
4. Sharanaagat Deenaart Paritraana Paraayane.
Sarva Syaartihare Devi Naaraayani Namostu Te.
4. शरणागत दीनार्त परित्राण परायणे।
सर्वस्यार्तिहरे देवि नारायणि नमोSस्तु ते।।
5.Sarvaswaroope Sarveshe Sarvashaktisamanvite.
Bhayebhyastraahi No Devi Durge Devi Namostu te.
5.सर्व स्वरूपे सर्वेशे सर्वशक्ति समन्विते।
भयेभ्य स्त्राहि नो देवि दुर्गे देवि नमोSस्तु ते।।
6.Rogaansheshaanapahansi Tushtaa.
Rushtaa Tu Kaamaan Sakalaanbheeshtaan.
Twaamaashritaanaam Na Vipannaraanaam.
Twaamaashritaa Hyaashrayatam Prayaanti.
6.रोगानशेषानपहंसि तुष्टा ,
रुष्टा तु कामान सकलानभीष्टान।
त्वामा श्रितानां न विपन्नराणां
त्वामाश्रिता ह्याश्रयतां प्रयान्ति।।
7. Sarvaabaadhaa Prashamanm Trailokyasyaakhileshvari.
Evmeva Twyaakaaryamasmdwairivinaashanam.
7.सर्वाबाधा प्रशमनं त्रैलोक्य स्याखिलेश्वरि।
एवमेव त्वया कार्य मस्म द्वैरिविनाशनं।।
After chanting of these verses , sit peacefully and have a feeling that Devi Durga has accepted your prayer and she is giving you her blessings. You are being filled with new enthusiasm and you are making progress in every field.
Then leave the place of pooja and do your routine work.
