When is Dhan Teras / Dhan Trayodashi
In the year 2016 Dhan Teras is on Friday, 28.10.2016 Kartik Krishna Paksh Trayodashi , Samwat 2073.

Dhan Teras or  Dhan Trayodashi is the first day of the five day Dipawali festival. On this day Yamraj, the god of death ,Dhanvantri the physician of gods and Kuber the god of wealth are worshiped. Dhan Teras  is considered as auspicious Titithi (day) to buy new things, particularly the things made of gold or silver.
